Heer is a Bluetooth device detector that utilizes BLE technology to identify Bluetooth Low Energy devices in your vicinity as well as other Bluetooth accessories.
- Use Cases:
- Finding lost phones or Bluetooth devices such as wireless earphones.
- Detecting hidden or unwanted Bluetooth devices.
Excluding Devices: Your wireless earphones, smartwatches, and other Bluetooth devices may cause interference with the app's alert functionality while searching for different devices. To prevent false alarms, we have included a feature to exclude your personal devices during startup.
Background Running: Bluetooth scanning for unknown devices in the background is not supported. To maintain a seamless experience, we offer three solutions to replicate this functionality:
- Apple Watch Compatibility: A companion app for Apple Watch is available, allowing you to continue using your phone uninterrupted, even on Apple Watches with 'always on display' enabled.
- iOS Auto-Lock Prevention: Heer disables auto screen lock on iPhones and other iOS devices, ensuring continuous operation without interruptions caused by the screen dimming or going to sleep.
- Guided Access Lock: By utilizing guided access mode, the app can run in the background even when the device is locked. This feature is particularly useful when you need to keep the app active in your pocket to prevent accidental interactions or ensure security if someone else accesses your phone.
